Oppo, I feel awful

So, I’ve barely posted lately, and I apologize for that. Work and all. Well, other things too. Last month, my mom had what appeared to be a stroke. Thankfully, it wasn’t. It ended up being Bell’s Palsy. She’s still recovering, and has only limited movement in one eye. She’s been off work for a month now, and her and my step dad are losing out on thousands of dollars because of this, plus related emotional distress. He’s trying to sell his classic Challenger and two of his trucks just to keep afloat. They’re hours pride and he doesn’t want to but they feel lost. I set up a GoFundMe page for them so they don’t go under while she’s off work. They have bills due, medication, doctor’s bills, and everything else under the Sun. I didn’t know really what to put as a goal amount so it’s an arbitrary number. If anyone can donate, I’d be eternally grateful, but you’re not obligated to. It’s just been very stressful. We are fighting with our own finances, plus we have a baby due in July, so we’re spread thin. We help as we can but I feel that it’s beyond our grasp to outright rescue them. Even $5 towards this would be greatly appreciated.

I’m very sorry to read this about your mom’s health troubles and the stress it’s putting you all under. Regardless of how hard it is right now, just keep in mind that this is temporary, you’ll get through it together, and things will get better. Congrats on the little one.
